Recently I have been spending a LOT of time learning to fly FPV with 250 size miniquads. The sheer joy of getting something to fly has sparked some memories of past experiences that I would like to re-hash just for good measure:
There was the hacked Xwing planes:
Cheap 27 MHz foam planes hacked to be controlled from proper RC controller.
There was the first wings with long motor shafts to move the CG back:
Resulting in the ultimate nothing is sacred combat wings that got us banned from the RC airfield for having too much fun:
