The position is then transmitted via. VHF radio to the APRS network using a Micro Trak APRS transponder. Video is recorded on a 16GB SD card using a HACK-HD camera. Live feed from the camera is transmitted to ground using a 2,4GHz video transmitter. An Arduino based microcontroller handles power managmenet and safety features.
